I’m also someone who previously struggled with my weight, health and fitness.

Can you relate? 

Name a diet, and I had probably tried it. Can't recall which diet I was on in this picture, but pretty sure there was one. 

Some were huge failures, some had a fair amount of success, but nearly all had one thing in common.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I was always calculating the successful end date for said diet.

Meanwhile, I often felt bloated, tired, hungry, with big cravings for sweet stuff.

All that left me feeling more than a little bit defeated. 

Sound familiar?

As a Registered Nurse, knowing a thing or two about the human body, I was also thinking I should have this weight loss thing, feeling good thing, living my healthiest, all wrapped up! 

I was beginning to wonder if it might not be possible for me.  

I didn't give up and figured it out!

It did NOT happen overnight. 

After a LOT of trial and error, many failed fad diets, I finally found a way that worked long term.

One that didn’t include pages and pages of fine print instructions or foods that were so gross I lost my appetite.

One that helps me look and feel my best today AND sets me up for being my healthiest for decades to come. 

One that is easy to follow anywhere that works…. eating real food!

In the end, natural weight loss is just a side effect.

The primary results are things like:

  • increased energy, less bloat
  • increased focus
  • Finally feeling good about how clothes fit.
  • Gaining control over how you feel, and your health again.

Ultimately, the number on the scale or the clothing size becomes a tiny part of it.

It is NOT a diet. It’s a lifestyle. 

Because of that, it’s maintainable.

Weight is just a number.  Energy, great health for today and years to come is the true goal. Ladies 40+, this is especially important!

In my “other” career as a Registered Nurse, I meet so many people struggling with their weight, and their health in general. 

This stuff isn’t often taught much in traditional medicine, or talked about in healthcare.

And it should be…

Feel better now, and do it in a way that your future you will thank you! 

 

 

 Now I'm my healthiest self, in my 50's, and I want to help YOU reach your health goals! 

My passion for health and wellness and making a REAL impact in improving people’s health led me to obtain my health coaching certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN.) 

Now, I bring together my 20 + years experience as a Registered Nurse ("the traditional side"), coupled with my experience as a Certified Health Coach (combo of the traditional side with a little bit of the "woo"), as well as my personal weight loss and health journey, to help you reach YOUR health goals.

Wellness is SO much more than a number on a scale. 

 I’m so excited to share what I have learned with you!

Great news, you don't have to give up desserts! You just have to plan for them! :) 

Shhh... Don't tell anyone, but I wasn't a fan of cooking until my late 40's! 

Secret... healthy foods can taste AMAZING!

I'm always looking for easy ways to add protein into my day. Did you know broccoli is a great source?  

If it includes an ocean, I'm there! 

Kind of funny since I live in the Midwest! 

Did you say volleyball? 

I might be 5'5 but I can spike like a 6' player! I will hopefully be playing in my 70's!
